Amenities

Residents can choose private or shared rooms, each with a private bathroom. Planning and communicating are the keys to an enjoyable and beneficial stay and what sets us apart from others. Upon admission, we will have a detailed history of the medical condition and other pertinent information that will help us determine how best to care for our residents. The plan we develop includes an assessment of the individual’s physical and psychosocial status as part of the planning process, and the resident, family or other responsible party is always involved.

HOUSEKEEPING

Housekeeping and maintenance services are conducted on a daily basis. Housekeepers make every effort to schedule the cleaning of your room at the same time each day or when it’s convenient for each resident

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is provided by the Center for scheduled trips to town and special outings. MOTA transportation is available at the Center.

LAUNDRY

Marion Manor launders personal items and clothing for the convenience of the residents. This service is included within the daily rate.

MAIL & POSTAL SERVICE

There is an outgoing mailbox located in the front reception area. Mail is sorted and delivered to your individual room. All mail is confidentially handled.

PERSONAL ITEMS

Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with items from their own home. Please contact social services for approval before bringing large items to the center, or if you have other questions pertaining to room decorations.

PETS

Pets on leashes with current vaccination record are welcomed within the center during regular business hours. Please respect the resident’s dining experience by not permitting pets in the dining and service areas.

TELEPHONE

You may have a private telephone installed in your room if you desire. A courtesy phone is available for your convenience.

TELEVISION

Residents may bring their own television to the center. The rooms are cable ready. The maintenance department is available to assist you with your arrangements. Basic cable service is included within the daily rate.

VISITORS

Visiting hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Other visiting times may be arranged at your convenience.

Beauty shop and barber services are available weekly.

Religious Services

Many denominations hold religious services on a regular basis at Marion Manor and are sponsored by local churches and clergy. If a resident has a special need, request or desires counseling, arrangements may be made through the Social Services Department.
